This is like a fast windsurfer! Big (1 5/8 inches x 5/8 inch) boulder opal "sail" with lots of lavender, red, and green pinfire is teamed with a large (1 3/4" X 3/8") ritcherite cabochon "hull." Ritcherite is a gemstone that is very hard to find, let alone in this gem quality and size! The total pendant size is 2 3/4" x 1 3/4" x 3/8". It is strung on smooth tanzanite roundel beads. It is a one of a kind, hand formed and fabricated marriage of metals. The bezels are 22k gold. I have made the underbezel on the top stone of 14k gold and the underbezel on the bottom stone of sterling silver. It is strung with a 14k lobster claw clasp to about 16" inches in length on a durable synthetic fiber that moves like silk but doesn't stretch, shred or fray like silk.
