Description
This is a petite necklace with an Australian boulder opal (natural opal in the ironstone boulder in which it grew in). It has a bicolor tourmaline facetted teardrop accent. The bezel is fine silver and everything else is sterling silver. This pretty pendant is strung to 16 1/2" on beautiful facetted andalusite beads with apatite accents towards the pendant. The pendant measures 1" x 1/2". including the bail. It is strung on a synthetic fiber called spectra, which is actually the same stuff that Dave uses when rigging sailboats! Spectra moves like silk but doesn't stretch, shred, or fray like silk and it takes a high load so I don't even worry about breakage. The pendant bezel is fine silver and all of the other metal is sterling silver. It has a spring ring clasp.
