Description
My seaglass is found in Maine. A sea glass expert once told me that these lavender pieces were originally white when they found their way into the ocean but that over time, the minerals in the sea turned them pinkish or lavender. I set a rhodolite garnet into this particular piece. I never found a pink piece of sea glass in all my years summering at the Jersey shore, but it is here in Maine and I love them! This piece is strung on smooth amethyst briolettes to 16" long. All of the components are sterling silver except for the little 14k gold bezel that the rhodolite garnet sits in.
