Description
My seaglass is from Maine. A sea glass expert once told me that these lavender pieces were originally white when they found their way into the ocean but that over time, the minerals in the sea turned them pinkish or lavender. I never found a pink piece of sea glass in all my years summering at the Jersey shore, but it is here in Maine. This pinkish sea glass has a ruby, sapphire, and blue topaz set into it. Each accent stone is wrapped in a tiny 14k gold bezel. It hangs from a sterling silver bail but has a decorative beaded wire design. It is strung to 15 3/4" on facetted gradient rubies and sapphires.
