My seaglass is from Maine. A sea glass expert once told me that these lavender pieces were originally white when they found their way into the ocean but that over time, the minerals in the sea turned them pinkish or lavender. I never found a pink piece of sea glass in all my years summering at the Jersey shore, but it is here in Maine. This pinkish Maine sea glass has four rhodolite garnet accents in little 14k gold bezels set into the glass. It hangs on a sterling silver 18" chain from a sterling silver bail.
